The Teenagers Responsible : Soda Pop

These guys are called The Teenagers Responsible. I don’t know them at all, but no one does and they like it that way.  From a Facebook group created in their honor:

The Teenagers Responsible were a no-wave/punk quartet hailing from Glue Lick, Kentucky. The band consisted of Scott Stovetop (drums), Mel Hormel (bass), Brian Boyardee (guitar), and Scott Employment History (vocals). The band formed while all its members were employed at a septic tank cleaning firm operated by Brian Boyardee’s brother-in-law, although they had been friends since high school, sharing a common interest in Dramamine abuse and horrifying pornography. Their only recorded output, the self-released 7” “The Teenagers Responsible Are Bart Simpson, Who the Hell Are You?” has been long out-of-print.

The Teenagers Responsible don’t have a website and they don’t give a fuck about you. You can read an interview with them, though, here.

seriously killer band, that “the teenagers responsible are bart simpson, who the hell are you?” EP is incredible.
